Visitor Visa
If you are from a country that requires a visit visa to come and visit Canada, you must be able to show on your application that you meet the requirements needed to enter Canada and the visit will only be temporary and you have a reason to go back to your current country of residence.
Super Visa
A visitor visa that lets you visit your children or grandchildren for up to 5 years at a time and it is a multi-entry visa that is valid up to 10 years.

Transit Visa
A specialized visa to allow passengers to transit through Canada to go to another country
Visit Extension
Extending your stay in Canada does not need another visa, you will only need to get a visitor record--a document that allows you to stay longer in Canada and gives you a new date that you must leave Canada. Despite the visitor now being a visa, application and processing are still required to get it.
Visit Visa for Workers and Students inside Canada
If you are a student or a worker who extended your student/work permit, your visit visa won't automatically be extended, hence, you might need to submit a separate visa application. This can be done if you are already in Canada, you currently hold a valid study/work permit, your existing visit visa is expired or was only valid for one entry, and you want to leave and return to Canada in the near future.
